Here is a late April (4/19/16) single ewe lamb. She is out of HC6 2075 who was one of our best Maverick ET sons from Australia. Her dam is a 2208 son. A little later maturing female here. She has an excellent head and a nice mixed fiber covering.
Current Weight: 51
Q: | Is this ewe good in the mouth - photos can be very deceptive, but it looks parrot-y? posted by: lobdell1 9/23/2016 9:55:22 PM |
A: | Its the white on her lip that creates an optical illusion. I thought that as well and as always I check each mouth and evaluate each sheep. Actually I am so strict on mouths that I check each mouth every year. The last parrot mouth I found I culled both lambs and the ewe! |
