2579 has some mass and depth of body that we like to see. As with most all the sheep in the sale a very nice covering on this ram. Sire is Dell "Jo Jo Junior" 10071 an outstanding Dorper sire in Australia. Dam is HC6 2363 a daughter of HC6 2208 our best stud ram.
DOB: 4/3/14
Current Weight: 115.5
Q: | Is this the correct weight on this lamb? He looks heavier. Jeri posted by: cooleyedbabe 10/10/2014 11:36:09 PM |
A: | Twins are never as big as singles. You must remember ALL of my ET lambs are reared as singles. This is an AI twin so we are not comparing apples to apples. |
Q: | This young ram according to your posted weight at 115 lbs weighs about 30 lbs less than many of his age mates, right? Do you know why or is this inaccurate? Thanks! Pamela Frost posted by: frostkingp 10/10/2014 11:37:58 AM |
A: | Remember all ET lambs were singles and most of the AI lambs like this one were twins. They have only been fed for two weeks so they have done most of their growing in our dry pastures |
